Senior Hamas official and head of its Arab and Islamic Relations Department Khalil al-Hayya said in press statements on Thursday that the group’s foreign visits aimed to mobilize all forms of support for the Palestinian people and resistance.
Al-Hayya stressed the Movement’s adherence to every free Arab Islamic and human voice supporting the nation’s issues mainly the Palestinian cause.
There are attempts to keep the nation away from its central issues foremost of which is the Palestinian cause he added.
The Hamas official pointed to the Movement’s supreme leader Ismail Haneyya’s recent visit to Lebanon expressing the group’s total support for the Lebanese people in face of Israeli theft of their natural resources.
He further pointed out that Haneyya’s visit to Algeria came at the invitation of the Algerian president to participate in the celebrations of the Algerian independence anniversary.
