Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya on Monday met with the Lebanese prime minister Najib Mikati in the Lebanese capital Beirut where they discussed latest developments in the Palestinian issue.
Haneyya briefed Mikati on the latest developments concerning Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque including the Israeli Judaization plans attempts to control the Muslim and Christian holy sites in addition to the Israeli plans to impose temporal and spatial division on Al-Aqsa Mosque.
He extended his congratulations to the Lebanese PM for being re-elected as prime minister of Lebanon. He also praised Lebanon’s success in chairing the UNRWA Advisory Commission.
Earlier on Tuesday Ismail Haneyya arrived in Beirut at the head of a senior Hamas delegation on a visit to meet with Lebanese officials and leaders.
