Three Palestinians were rounded up on Wednesday evening after Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed al-Khalil southern West Bank.
Local sources affirmed that IOF soldiers stormed several neighborhoods in al-Khalil and arrested three locals after violently raiding and searching their homes.
In a separate incident IOF attacked Palestinian and foreign activists in Masafer Yatta town south of al-Khalil while protesting against the Israeli military exercises carried out for the second consecutive day in the area.
Two activists were detained during the attack.
The IOF soldiers were earlier deployed in large numbers between local homes and carried out military trainings.
Last month the Israeli authorities rejected appeals against eviction orders issued to Palestinian inhabitants of Masafer Yatta the area designated as a closed military training site “Firing Zone 918” south of al-Khalil.
The decision effectively ends the legal proceedings that lasted for more than two decades thereby permitting the IOF to clear and use the area for military training.
