Israeli warplanes attacked on Saturday morning a number of sites and observation posts belonging to the Palestinian resistance in different areas of the besieged Gaza Strip.

According to local sources warplanes bombed the Salahuddin site which belongs to al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas in central Gaza with over eight missiles.

Two air raids also targeted and destroyed an observation post in the east of al-Zeitoun neighborhood south of Gaza City.

Later two other observation posts in northern Gaza were bombed by Israeli aircraft.

A spokesman for the Israeli occupation army claimed that several airstrikes targeted military sites belonging to Hamas in Gaza including a weapon production facility in central Gaza and three observation posts close to the border.

The spokesman said the aerial attacks were in response to a rocket that was fired in the early hours of Saturday towards Ashkelon but intercepted by anti-missile batteries.

Israeli warplanes at dawn Sunday bombed different areas of the besieged Gaza Strip with no reported casualties.

A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that a warplane fired multiple missiles at a site near al-Maghazi camp in central Gaza.

He added that another aerial attack targeted a site in Ein Jalut area in the west of Khan Yunis south of Gaza.

Several air raids also targeted a site on the coastal road in the west of Rafah and destroyed a poultry farm in as-Salam neighborhood in Rafah near the border with Egypt.

The aerial aggression only caused material damage to the bombed sites.

The Israeli occupation army claimed the new attacks were in response to a rocket launched towards the southern city of Sderot on Saturday evening.

Israeli warplanes at dawn Wednesday launched airstrikes on the Gaza Strip with no reported casualties.

A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the dawn aerial attacks targeted a resistance site in the west of Khan Younis and an agricultural plot of land in the east of Shuja’iyya.

Earlier after midnight a warplane fired at least five missiles at the Ein Jalout site which belongs to al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas in the southwest of Khan Younis.

A spokesman for the Israeli occupation army claimed the air raids were carried out in response to the launch of two rockets from Gaza towards Israeli areas on Tuesday evening.
