Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired rubber-coated bullets and teargas canisters at Palestinians and foreign activists participating in a solidarity event in Burin village in southern Nablus on Friday morning.
The Palestinian Red Crescent society said that five Palestinians were treated for rubber bullet injuries while 15 others were treated for suffocation from inhaling teargas. Three others were injured after falling to the ground including foreign activists the society added.
It underlined that the soldiers assaulted a paramedic while tending to one of the injured activists.
Eyewitnesses said that the activists were reclaiming and cultivating land in the eastern area of Burin when the IOF attacked them.
