The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) has extended the administrative detention of senior Hamas official Jamal at-Taweel a resident of Bireh City for the third consecutive time.
According to a family source an Israeli military court extended the detention of Taweel for an additional six months.
The Israeli occupation forces kidnaped Taweel on June 2 2021 from his home in Bireh City only three months after he was released from an Israeli jail.
During his current detention Taweel staged an open-ended hunger strike for about one month to demand the release of his daughter Bushra but later he suspended it after Israeli jailers agreed to set a time limit for her administrative detention.
