The Israeli occupation police claimed they had arrested last month a cell of five Palestinian citizens from east Jerusalem suspected of planning to carry out attacks against Israeli targets.
Those Jerusalemite detainees who allegedly include members of Hamas were arrested in early April according to the Hebrew website 0404.
The website quoted Israeli security sources as saying that the detainees planned to carry out shooting operations against Israeli targets and public figures including Knesset member Itamar Ben-Gvir.
The detainees have also been accused of preparing plans to carry out suicide operations make explosive devices kidnap soldiers launch a drone attack on the light rail in Jerusalem and organize protests against Israel according to the Israeli police claims.
The police said they would submit indictments against the detainees to a court in the holy city on Tuesday.
