Member of the Christian-Islamic Committee in support of Jerusalem and the Holy Places Father Manuel Musallam called on Monday for civil disobedience in Occupied Jerusalem next Sunday in protest against Jewish settlers’ plans to storm al-Aqsa Mosque.
Father Musallam called for mass mobilization throughout Occupied Jerusalem and urged Palestinians to block roads before the settlers.
He further called for confronting settlers’ plans to break in and defile al-Aqsa Mosque.
Earlier Sunday the Israeli Magistrate’s Court ruled to allow Jewish settlers to perform Talmudic rituals during their provocative raids into the al-Aqsa Mosque.
Commenting on the court’s ruling Hamas Movement affirmed that it will never allow Jewish settlers to desecrate al-Aqsa Mosque and perform Talmudic prayers in its courtyards regardless of the cost stressing that the holy site belongs exclusively to the Muslim nation.
