Haneyya calls for abolishing the Oslo Accords

Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya on Friday said that the latest developments in Palestine require taking decisive decisions topped by abolishing the Oslo Accords.

“Amid the heinous Israeli crimes including the assassination of (Al Jazeera journalist) Shireen Abu Akleh repeated raids on Jenin refugee camp settlement establishment in the West Bank repeated incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque the siege on the Gaza Strip and detention of thousands of Palestinians we call for urgently setting up a plan based on national unity and resistance” Haneyya said in a press statement.

The Hamas leader called on the Palestinian Authority to officially cancel the Oslo Accords halt security coordination with Israel and withdraw the recognition of Israel. He also called for launching a national plan based on unity and resistance.

He hailed the bravery of the Palestinian people in Jenin which proved the efficiency of national unity and resistance confirming that resistance is the only way to liberate the Palestinian holy sites and regain rights.
