Violent clashes erupted at dawn Thursday when Israeli police forces stormed different parts of Occupied Jerusalem.
A large scale raid and arrest campaign was carried out in Silwan town adjacent to the southern wall of the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Similar confrontations erupted in Issawiya town northeast of Occupied Jerusalem after Israeli forces stormed the town amid heavy firing of teargas bombs and rubber-coated bullets.
Meanwhile Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested two young men from their family houses in Rummana and Qabatiya towns in Jenin.
A third young man was detained in al-Khalil while two others were summoned for investigation.
Earlier Wednesday evening clashes erupted in separate areas of the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem.
In Jenin armed clashes broke out near the separation wall in Anin village after IOF soldiers stormed the village.
In Bethlehem Palestinian youths stoned settlers’ vehicles in Tekoa town.
Molotov cocktail attack also targeted an IOF military watchtower set up at the entrance to Al-Aroub refugee camp north of al-Khalil.
Meanwhile a young man suffered serious gunshot injuries after being targeted by Israeli police forces at the entrance to al-Aqsa Mosque.
Also in Occupied Jerusalem violent clashes erupted when Israeli forces suppressed a protest vigil denouncing the journalist Shireen Abu Akleh’s murder in Beit Hanina town.
At least 5 youths including a paramedic were wounded during the clashes while 6 others were arrested.
