Palestinians injured in Israeli raids into Nablus Tulkarem

Tuesday 10-May-2022

Three Palestinians suffered rubber bullet injuries while dozens more suffered from tear gas inhalation after Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed Nablus and Tulkarem in the West Bank on Sunday evening.

Local sources reported three youths were shot and injured with rubber bullets one of them in the face while others suffered breathing problems as clashes broke out in Nablus.

The clashes erupted when IOF soldiers stormed the city in large numbers with the aim of providing protection to a number of buses with dozens of settlers on board on their way to Joseph Tomb religious site.

In Tulkarem dozens of Palestinians suffered from tear gas inhalation after the IOF fired tear gas canisters at dozens of Palestinian vehicles at the Kafriyat road south of the city.

Palestinian drivers were forced to take alternative roads after IOF troops blocked the main road in both directions.

In another development a group of settlers uprooted nearly 110 olive seedlings in Burqa town to the north west of Nablus city.

Meanwhile the IOF arrested a Palestinian in al-Khalil for allegedly infiltrating into a nearby illegal Jewish settlement.

IOF soldiers also carried out a large-scale search campaign in Emmanuel settlement illegally built northwest of Salfit for fear of an infiltration operation.
