Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained a Palestinian merchant while crossing the Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing from Gaza Strip en route to the West Bank on Wednesday.
The head of the studies and documentation unit at the Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs’ Commission Abdul Nasser Farwana said on Thursday that Ahmed al-Dalo who has a merchant permit was detained by the IOF at the crossing.
He told Quds Press that the IOF had detained three merchants at the Beit Hanun crossing since the start of 2022.
He pointed out that the IOF detained six Palestinians at the crossing in 2021.
