The Hamas Movement said on Monday that Israeli foreign minister Yair Lapid’s statement was a scandalous attempt to provide a cover to the Israeli crimes and racist practices.
Lapid’s statements claimed that Hamas and Islamic Jihad Movements are responsible for the events in the Aqsa Mosque.
“These claims are exposed attempts to deny Israel’s responsibility for its crimes that violate the holy sites and the freedom of worship especially after Israeli’s crimes have been internationally condemned” Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum said.
“According to the international norms and conventions the Palestinian people have all the right to resist occupation until they achieve their freedom return and self-determination” Barhoum added.
