Thousands of Palestinians marched on Friday in the north of the Gaza Strip in solidarity with Al-Aqsa Mosque and their brethren in Occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank.
During the march called for by the Hamas Movement the participants raised the Palestinian flags and chanted national slogans supporting the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestinians in the West Bank.
“The Palestinian people whether in the West Bank or in the Gaza Strip are one. Our Palestinian national unity is the means by which we will continue defending our holy sites until we liberate them and keep no place for the invaders” the member of Hamas’s political bureau Suhail al-Hindi said in a speech at the march.
“The Palestinian resistance is ready to fight until the liberation of the Al-Aqsa Mosque the third holiest site in Islam” al-Hindi added confirming that the Al-Aqsa Mosque is a red line.
The Hamas official hailed the bravery of Palestinian protestors in the West Bank who assembled near Bab al-Amud and protected the Al-Aqsa Mosque against the extremist Jewish settlers’ flag march.
