A Palestinian youth suffered rubber bullet injuries while others suffered from teargas inhalation as clashes broke out in al-Khalil and Bethlehem with Israeli occupation forces (IOF) late on Monday evening.
Local sources reported that violent clashes erupted in the Bab al-Zawiya area in central al-Khalil after being stormed by IOF troops amid heavy firing of teargas bombs.
A Palestinian was shot and injured in his foot by a rubber bullet while dozens suffered from their expose to teargas fumes the sources added.
Similar clashes erupted in Beit Ummar town north of the city.
Several cases of breathing problems were also reported in Husan and Al-Khader towns in Bethlehem.
Meanwhile a young man was stopped and detained at an IOF military checkpoint near the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil.
