Israeli police forces continued to attack Palestinian youths in the vicinity of Bab al-Amud in the occupied city of Jerusalem for the fifth consecutive day of the holy month of Ramadan on Wednesday.
Three youths and a child were arrested during the Israeli attack media sources revealed.
Journalists were also attacked and prevented from covering the events.
Since the start of the holy month of Ramadan the Israeli police were put on high alert at the Bab al-Amud area with police officers deployed in large numbers accompanied by police dogs. 33 Palestinian youths were detained since then.
The attack is seen as part of Israeli attempts to impose a new fait accompli on the Jerusalemites and prevent their night presence in the areas around the Aqsa Mosque during Ramadan.
