Hazem Qassem the spokesman for Hamas condemned the call of the head of the Israeli police operations department on Israelis to volunteer in the so-called “civil guard”. He also denounced in a statement on Tuesday the previous Israeli government’s call on Israelis to bear arms.
Hazem Qassem viewed the Israeli institutions’ call as an official incitement for murder and violence against the Palestinian people.
“Such calls reflect the terrorist policies of Zionist institutions and that they are characterized by leading armed gangs and militias and shamelessly violating international laws and norms” he added.
