Monday 4-April-2022

A number of Palestinian citizens suffered from breathing difficulty during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in western Bethlehem on Sunday night.

Local sources reported that three boys were also arrested during the clashes in Husan village.

They said that clashes broke out in the village between Palestinian youths and the IOF soldiers who fired rubber-coated metal bullets gas canisters and sound bombs at the citizens leaving a number of them suffering from their exposure to the gas fumes.

The sources added that the IOF arrested three teens: Nasser Hamamra Mohamed Sebatin and Abdul Rahman Hamamra.

The Israeli occupation authorities had taken control of over 70 percent of the village’s land which is estimated at 13000 dunums to build the settlement of Beitar Illit. The 7500 town’s people live on the remaining 3000 dunums.
