Thousands of Palestinians managed to perform Fajr (dawn) prayer at al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem and the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil on Friday.
Since the early morning hours thousands of Palestinians including women and children reached al-Aqsa as part of the Great Fajr campaign.
After performing Fajr prayer hundreds of Palestinians gathered in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa confirming the Palestinians’ spiritual links to the holy site.
Meanwhile thousands of Palestinians including families performed the dawn prayer in the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil.
Palestinian activists had earlier called for intensifying presence at Palestinian holy sites in response to the Israeli systematic Judaization policy.
