Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened machinegun fire at Palestinian agricultural land lots in eastern Khan Younis in the south of Gaza Strip on Wednesday night.
Local sources said on Thursday that the IOF soldiers stationed in watchtowers overlooking the besieged enclave opened fire at Palestinian cultivated lands in eastern Abasan al-Kabira to the east of Khan Younis.
They added that the sound of the machinegun firing spread panic among citizens in the area.
The IOF soldiers stationed along the northern and eastern borders of Gaza Strip open machinegun fire and fire teargas canisters on Palestinian land lots in the border area on daily basis.
