Settlers steal grapevines wreak havoc on vineyard in W. Bank

A horde of extremist Jewish settlers uprooted and stole on Wednesday dozens of young grapevines and wreaked havoc on a vineyard in Kafr ad-Dik town west of Salfit.

The landowner Saadat Saeed explained that settlers from the illegal settlement of Bruchin uprooted and stole 60 young vines demolished stone fences and removed barbed wire on his swath of land in Umm Hanoun area north of the town.

He affirmed that the settlers’ fierce attack on agricultural property in Kafr ad-Dik is aimed at forcing the farmers to stop taking care of their lands pointing out that 50 Palestinian agricultural structures were built in the area recently.

In a separate incident a group of settlers escorted by Israeli soldiers stole on the same day two water pumps and power cables and destroyed a water supply line and tanks belonging to a Palestinian citizen in Birin village in southern al-Khalil.
