The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested at least five Palestinians after breaking into Jenin villages in the northern West Bank on Friday morning.
The arrests were reported in Qabatiya and Burqin towns after Israeli troops broke into several local homes which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.
Israeli sources claimed that IOF troops came under fire during the raids.
In al-Khalil the IOF stormed and searched several Palestinian homes. No arrests were carried out.
The IOF troops often carry out detention raids against Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem claiming to arrest wanted Palestinians.
Last month six Palestinians were killed and 719 others were injured during Israeli forces and settlers’ attacks in the West Bank.
