Settlers attack Palestinian cars in W. Bank

Monday 28-February-2022

A horde of extremist Jewish settlers attacked on Monday morning Palestinian vehicles on the Jenin-Nablus road in the occupied West Bank.

Local official Ghassan Daghlas said that some cars sustained damage after settlers hurled stones at Palestinian cars traveling on the Jenin-Nablus road near the evacuated site of Homesh settlement.

Daghlas added that the settlers then prevented all cars from using the road pointing out that the Israeli occupation forces persist in closing a main road in the area and divert traffic from Sebastia town towards Nablus city.

Tuesday 2-February-2021

A horde of extremist Jewish settlers on Monday evening attacked Palestinian vehicles traveling on a road near Huwara town in southern Nablus in the occupied West Bank.

Local official Ghassan Daghlas said that settlers from the illegal settlement of Yitzhar rallied near the junction leading to the Nablus-Qalqilya road and hurled rocks at Palestinian cars during the presence of Israeli soldiers.

Daghlas added that several cars sustained damage in the stone-throwing attack.

In a separate incident another gang of settlers on the same day let their sheep graze on cultivated lands and destroy crops in Khirbet al-Tha’la hamlet in Masafer Yatta south of al-Khalil.

Local official said that settlers escorted by soldiers let their sheep trample and graze on swaths of land planted with wheat and barley in the hamlet as part of their repeated attempts to force the local residents to leave the area.
