The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided several homes and kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens during campaigns at dawn Saturday in the West Bank.

According to local sources the IOF kidnaped a West Bank young man from his workplace in Kafr Aqab neighborhood in the northeast of Jerusalem.

Local sources said that local youths threw rocks at IOF vehicles during their presence in the neighborhood.

In Ramallah two young men were taken prisoners during raids on their homes in Masyoun neighborhood and al-Am’ari refugee camp.

Earlier the IOF kidnaped two young men from Jenin at the Hamra checkpoint near Jericho City.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Sunday kidnaped at least five Palestinian citizens in different West Bank areas.

According to local sources the IOF stormed different towns in Ramallah and Bireh province and kidnaped at least one young man. The detainee was identified as Majdi al-Barghouthi.

The IOF also kidnaped another young man called Imad Abu Zeitoun from Zububa village in western Jenin after assaulting him at a checkpoint near the village.

Eyewitnesses said that soldiers severely beat Abu Zeitoun and sprayed pepper gas in his face before taking him to the Salem military base.

In Bethlehem the IOF kidnaped three citizens from different areas of the province. They were identified as Ahmed Takatika Radi Salah and Mohamed Sarhan.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Friday evening kidnaped five Palestinian young men in the West Bank.

According to local sources the IOF kidnaped a young man called Jihad Turkman at the eastern entrance to Ya’bad town in Jenin and confiscated his motorcycle.

The IOF also kidnaped four young men and seized the car they were aboard near Sebastia town in the north of Nablus province.

Sebastia mayor Mohamed Azem said the IOF set up a makeshift checkpoint at the main entrance to the town and intercepted a car carrying four young men before rounding them up and confiscating the car.

According to local sources the IOF kidnaped a young man called Mujahed Jibreel a resident of Balata refugee camp in Nablus.

Another young man identified as Khader al-Sharif was taken prisoner during an IOF campaign in al-Arroub refugee camp in al-Khalil.

Three others were kidnaped from their homes in Jenin refugee camp. They were identified as Ahmed and Yazeed al-Safouri and Ahmed al-Amer.

The IOF also raided homes in other areas of the West Bank and clashed with local youths.

According to a statement by the Israeli army the IOF arrested four wanted Palestinians in the West Bank.

Local sources in Ramallah said that the IOF kidnaped two brothers from the family of Dalaysha from their home in al-Jalazoun refugee camp.

The IOF also stormed al-Baloua neighborhood in al-Bireh city and later kidnaped two young men from Wad al-Dalb area in Ramallah.

In Nablus the IOF ransacked several homes in Beit Furik town and one store belonging to a prisoner before kidnaping a citizen from his house.

The IOF also stormed Azzun town in Qalqilya and confiscated a car for a while on the main road leading to its northern entrance.

Local sources said that Israeli soldiers fired tear gas grenades at Palestinian cars entering and leaving Azzun town and chased local youths in ash-Shamiya neighborhood during the campaign.

Meanwhile the IOF raided several homes in al-Khalil city and Halhul town in the north without making arrests.

The Israeli army claimed in a statement that its forces arrested four wanted Palestinians during raids homes in the West Bank.

According to the Hebrew website 0404 Israeli soldiers arrested last night a Palestinian from Nablus city at the Beit Furik checkpoint after allegedly finding a knife and a tear gas canister in his possession.

However Quds Press quoted local sources as saying that the IOF at the Beit Furik checkpoint kidnaped a young man identified as Emad al-Qayyem from Nablus city on allegations that he was carrying a knife.

In al-Khalil the IOF also kidnaped later at dawn two young men identified as Yousef al-Asafera and Zahran al-Zuhour from their homes in Beit Kahil town and another citizen from Beit Ula town.

A citizen was also brutally beaten by Israeli soldiers in Yatta town local sources said without providing further details.

In Jerusalem the IOF kidnaped at dawn a young man called Ali al-Khatib from his home in Hizma town.
