The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) demolished on Wednesday four Palestinian homes in the village of Shi’ab al-Batum east of Yatta in southern al-Khalil.
Local official Fuaad al-Amour said that the IOF demolished four crude homes in the village and displaced their residents from the family of Jabbarin.
40 individuals including children were living in those homes.
Amour said that the repeated demolition of homes and structures in the area is aimed at seizing Palestinian lands in order to expand the illegal settler outpost of Avigayil.
He appealed to international human rights group to urgently intervene to curb Israel’s displacement campaign in the area.
