Hordes of Jewish settlers uprooted dozens of olive trees and bulldozed land of Shufa village to the south east of Tulkarem before dawn Monday to pave a road for their nearby settlement.
Murad Durubi an activist in the village said that the settlers came after midnight and destroyed more than 40 trees in the area to build a road to their settlement Avnei Hefetz.
He noted that the new violation was part of the settlers’ persistent aggression on the Palestinian land to achieve the their goal of grabbing more land.
In another incident groups of settlers attacked Palestinian cars in Jinsafot village in Qalqilia on Monday morning damaging tires and spraying racist graffiti on the cars and on the walls.
Saher Eid the head of the village council said that the settlers damaged the tires of nine vehicles drew the Star of David and wrote racist slurs on the cars and walls before chanting “death to Arabs”.
