Israeli special forces detained two Palestinian ex-prisoners in two separate incidents in Jenin and Ramallah on Thursday.
Local sources in Kafr Qud village in Jenin said that the Israeli forces encircled the house of the ex-prisoner Sa’ed Abu Obaid 42 before taking him away.
The sources noted that Abu Obaid was wanted for the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) for months. He had served 11 years in Israeli jails and was released in June 2021.
In Ramallah another IOF special unit arrested the ex-prisoner Tamer Shawamra at the entrance to Palestine Medical Complex.
Local sources said that IOF soldiers had surrounded the entire neighborhood where the hospital is located before arresting Shawamra then withdrawing from the area.
