The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Monday morning opened fire at Palestinian farmers and fishermen in the south of the besieged Gaza Strip.
According to local sources Israeli soldiers opened fire from military posts towards farmers and shepherds in the east of al-Qarara and Abasan al-Kabira towns.
The intensity of the shooting forced the farmers and shepherds to leave the area.
Meanwhile Israeli gunboats opened machinegun fire at fishermen and their boats off the shores of Rafah area and chased some of them.
The attack forced the fishermen to return ashore.
Under an inhumane siege the Israeli army keeps attacking — sometimes injuring or killing — civilians farmers and fishermen almost on a daily basis without any shred of respect for any ceasefire deal in Gaza or even the international law.
