The Palestinian health ministry reported on Wednesday two new deaths associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) 7750 new positive tests and 1175 recoveries in the West Bank Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s daily report the two victims who died of the virus are from the West Bank.
Moreover 59 critically ill COVID-19 patients are being treated in intensive care units and 21 of them have been placed on ventilators.
An additional 100 patients are also receiving medical care in hospitals and special COVID-19 treatment centers in the West Bank.
94 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease while the rate of active cases has reached five percent and the rate of deaths is one percent of the total cases according to data updated today by the ministry.
