The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) unleashed its bulldozers on Palestinian land in Dura town to the south of al-Khalil on Sunday morning and levelled 50 dunums of cultivated land lots.
Walid Abu Sharar one of the victims of the bulldozing act said in a press statement that the bulldozing was meant to pave the way for annexing the land to a nearby Jewish settlement.
He recalled that settlers of that settlement had recurrently tried to seize the land owned by Abu Sharar and Nasr families.
Abu Sharar noted that the settlers had seized a water well that was formerly used by Palestinians for drinking purposes in the area. He said that the settlers were using the well in irrigating their crops and filling their swimming pools.
In another settler violation the head of the Qeera village council in northern Salfit Ashraf Ziyada said that groups of settlers damaged the tires of seven cars in the village on Sunday.
He said that the settlers raided the village at dawn damaged the tires of the seven cars and sprayed racist graffiti on them including death threats.
