The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot and killed a Palestinian young man late on Wednesday in Ramallah after opening fire at his car.
The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that Muhammad Issa Abbas 26 was shot in the back by the IOF near the al-Amari refugee camp in Ramallah.
He arrived at Ramallah hospital in critical condition. However attempts to save his life have failed and he was pronounced dead said the Ministry.
Local sources affirmed that the IOF soldiers opened fire at a car in a Ramallah neighborhood hitting Abbas in the back.
Israeli media sources claimed that a Palestinian shooter fired at Israeli forces from inside a vehicle near Psagot illegal settlement in Ramallah.
The shooter fired at Israeli forces from inside a vehicle where there was another person driving according to the Hebrew sources.
On the other hand two Palestinian young men were detained at an Israeli checkpoint at the entrance to Azzun town east of Qalqilya.
