The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday morning wreaked havoc on agricultural products and seized several fruit and vegetable stalls and carts belonging to Palestinian farmers and vendors in southern al-Khalil.
According to eyewitnesses a crew from the Israeli army’s civil administration escorted by a large number of soldiers stormed the area near the bypass road between al-Fawwar refugee camp and al-Khalil City and embarked on destroying quantities of vegetables and fruits belonging to local farmers and vendors.
The IOF also confiscated a number of stalls and carts used for selling agricultural crops and expelled all the farmers vendors and buyers from the area.
Meanwhile the IOF went on the rampage through a vast tract of land planted with grapevines near al-Fawwar refugee camp south of al-Khalil.
Local sources said that the IOF caused widespread damage to a vineyard belonging to the family of al-Mashareqa near the camp.
