The Palestinian health ministry on Thursday reported four new deaths associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) 310 new positive tests and 262 recoveries in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.

According to the ministry’s daily report one of the victims who died of the virus is from the West Bank and the others are from Gaza.

Moreover 50 critically ill COVID-19 patients are being treated in intensive care units and 10 of them have been placed on ventilators.

An additional 86 patients are also receiving medical care in hospitals and special COVID-19 treatment centers in the West Bank.

98.3 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease while the rate of active cases has reached 0.7 percent and the rate of deaths is 1.0 percent of the total cases according to data updated today by the ministry.

According to the ministry’s daily report all the victims who died of the virus are from the West Bank.

Moreover 49 critically ill COVID-19 patients are being treated in intensive care units and nine of them have been placed on ventilators.

An additional 78 patients are also receiving medical care in hospitals and special COVID-19 treatment centers in the West Bank.

98.3 percent of the total cases have recovered from the disease while the rate of active cases has reached 0.7 percent and the rate of deaths is 1.0 percent of the total cases according to data updated today by the ministry.
