The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday stormed Ras al-Ahmar hamlet in the northern Jordan Valley and confiscated agricultural equipment and vehicles.
According to local sources a large number of vehicles carrying Israeli troops and workers from the Israeli army’s civil administration stormed the hamlet at dawn and embarked on seizing tractors vehicles and water tanks used for agricultural purposes.
Soldiers also broke into and ransacked tents of local residents.
As other Bedouin communities in the Jordan Valley Ras al-Ahmar residents are exposed to repeated acts of harassment and persecution at the hands of Israeli forces in order to force them to leave their areas as a prelude to annexing them for settlement construction.
