The Israeli central court sentenced on Wednesday the 17-year-old Palestinian Muhammad Sabah to ten-year imprisonment for allegedly attempting to carry out a stabbing attack in Occupied Jerusalem.
The court also imposed a fine of 170000 shekels (55000 dollars) against the detained teen.
Sabah was arrested in October 2019 after being seriously injured by Israeli gunfire for allegedly planning a stabbing attack.
He had been held in Ramla prison hospital for six months where he underwent several medical surgeries. He is currently held in Megiddo prison.
Since the start of the current year 1149 Palestinian children were detained in Israeli jails. 30 of whom are still held behind Israeli bars.
