The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) on Sunday delivered a stop-work order against a house under construction in Artas village south of Bethlehem.
Palestinian activist Sameer Abu Sawi said that Israeli forces stormed the eastern area of Umm Rukba area in the village and handed Ismail Awad a notice ordering him to stop building a two-story house for his family.
He added that the soldiers also confiscated a concrete pump and mixer as a punitive measure against the owner.
The Israeli occupation army claimed the house had been built with no permit.
