The Palestinian health ministry on Wednesday reported fournew deaths associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) 221 new positive tests and 319recoveries in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s daily report two of the victimswho died of the virus are from the West Bank and two others from Gaza.
Moreover 47 critically ill COVID-19 patients are beingtreated in intensive care units and nine of them have been placed onventilators.
An additional 82 patients are also receiving medical care inhospitals and special COVID-19 treatment centers in the West Bank.
98.2 percent of the total cases have recovered from thedisease while the rate of active cases has reached 0.8 percent and the rate ofdeaths is 1.0 percent of the total cases according to data updated today bythe ministry.
