The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night kidnaped two Palestinian citizens at checkpoints in the West Bank and kidnaped two others in east Jerusalem.
According to local sources the IOF kidnaped a young man called Ghaith Duwaikat a resident of Beita town in southern Nablus at a military checkpoint near the illegal settlement of Ma’ale Efraim.
Another citizen identified as Faisal Naffaa was kidnaped by the IOF at the checkpoint of the Jit military camp upon his return from Ramallah.
Two others were taken prisoners by police forces at the main entrance to Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in east Jerusalem. They were identified as Abed Abu Zneid and Waseem al-Qawasmi
In a separate incident police forces on the same day physically assaulted and wounded a resident of Batn al-Hawa in Silwan district south of the Aqsa Mosque.
Kayed al-Rajbi member of the Batn al-Hawa land defense committee said that police officers stormed Batn al-Hawa neighborhood and savagely beat him adding that he suffered multiple injuries as a result of the attack.
Meanwhile violent clashes broke out in Shuafat refugee camp east Jerusalem between local youths and police forces.
Local sources in Shuafat said that the police intensively fired tear gas and stun grenades during the events.
