The Hamas Movement has called for taking a punitive measure against Israeli ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan after he tore up a Human Right Council report on Israeli war crimes in Gaza after he addressed the General Assembly.
In press remarks on Saturday Hamas spokesman Abdul-Latif Qanu said that Erdan’s behavior on the podium of the General Assembly reflected the Israeli occupation state’s arrogance in dealing with international and UN institutions.
Spokesman Qanu added that such behavior “entails taking punitive steps against him.”
“The world has to stop the policy of double standards do justice to the victims of Israeli massacres curb this rogue entity and hold its leaders accountable for their crimes against our people” the spokesman underlined.
