NABLUS (PIC)– An Israeli military court has decided to extend the detention of Sheikh Saleh Al-Aruri one of the Hamas leaders in the West Bank for the second time running without trial or charge legal sources reported.
They said that Aruri 40 was arrested on 23rd June last year and then was held under administrative detention for six months which was renewed for a similar period on Tuesday.
Aruri had served 15 years in occupation jails at the early days of the first intifada that broke out in 1987 on charges of forming Hamas’s armed wing in the West Bank he then served a number of administrative detentions. He was released only a few months ago.
In the same context Israeli military courts agreed to the Zionist intelligence’s request to extend the administrative detention of Sheikh Bajes Nakhla for six new months. He was arrested more than a year ago. It also renewed the detention of Sheikh Tayseer Al-Aruri 44 for four months.
In another development IOF soldiers kidnapped four Palestinians in Nablus city and its refugee camps and villages at dawn Wednesday.
Locals noted that the soldiers savagely broke into civilian homes and destroyed their furniture before taking away the four young men.
