Two Israeli soldiers were injured in Nablus after an armed group fired at them during their raid on the city at dawn Monday the Hebrew radio reported.
Violent confrontations took place after hundreds of Jewish settlers under the protection of Israeli occupation forces (IOF) broke into Joseph’s Tomb in eastern Nablus according to local sources.
Palestinian youths confronted the settlers break in and clashed with IOF soldiers throwing stones and empty bottles at them.
The shooting attempt and the confrontations forced the IOF to evacuate the settlers from the site before finishing the planned rituals.
