Violent clashes broke out last night and at dawn Monday between Palestinian young men and the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in different areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem.
Local sources said that dozens of young men torched tires on roads and hurled stones at the IOF near the Qalandia checkpoint in northern Jerusalem.
Local youths also clashed with police forces who stormed the east Jerusalem districts of Silwan and Issawiya.
One young man was reportedly kidnaped by police officers from his home in Issawiya.
In al-Khalil an Israeli car sustained damage after it came under gunfire near the illegal settlement of Kiryat Arba.
Meanwhile a group of young men managed to set fire at an Israeli observation post in Muthalat al-Fawwar area south of al-Khalil.
In Jenin a young man suffered a rubber bullet injury during clashes with the IOF near the Jalamah checkpoint in the north of the City while Israeli forces came under fire after they stormed Kafr Dan town in the west of Jenin.
Palestinian youths also clashed with the IOF at the northern entrances to Qalqilya City and Bethlehem City where the latter responded by firing volleys of tear gas grenades.
