Israeli occupation police broke into the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards in Jerusalem after the Friday prayer and quelled a march supporting Palestinian prisoners.
Local sources said that dozens of Israeli policemen stormed the holy Islamic site and were deployed near the Dome of the Rock and Bab el-Rahma in a bid to disperse a peaceful march in support of the prisoners who are being violently quelled by the Israeli prison service.
The march in the Aqsa courtyards hoisted photos of Palestinian prisoners and the Palestinian flag and chanted slogans calling for releasing all prisoners in Israeli occupation jails and ending the repressive measure being exercised against them over the past four days.
