The Hamas Movement has said that Israeli army chief of staff Aviv Kochavi’s threat to launch a strong military operation against the Gaza Strip will not frighten or terrorize the Palestinian people and their resistance.
In Twitter remarks Hamas spokesman Abdul-Latif al-Qanu said that Kochavi’s threat was only a media stunt asserting that the Palestinian people would continue their struggle with different means to wrest their rights fully.
“The Sword of Jerusalem has not been sheathed and the echo of the battle fought by the resistance is still reverberating among his shaken military forces who suffer from its impacts” spokesman Qanu said.
Kochavi recently threatened to carry out what he described as a harsh response or operation against Gaza if anti-siege protests on the border did not stop.
