The Israeli occupation authority bulldozers continued on Saturday razing agricultural and grazing lands in the Haris village west of Salfit in the northern West Bank.
Omar Samara the head of Haris village council said that bulldozing works are continuing to the west of the village in order to expand the Kiryat Netafim settlement the Burkan and Ariel factories and Revava settlement.
The Israeli occupation authority regularly bulldozes Haris land uproots its olive trees and distributes eviction notifications in a bid to pave way for expanding nearby Jewish-only settlements.
In another development on Friday evening Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian citizens while they were on a mountain hike on the outskirts of Mount al-Raysan to the northwest of Ramallah.
Dhafer Ataya one of the hikers said that two settlers arrived in the area and tried to expel his family from the place.
Ataya was with a number of his family members preparing lunch on the family’s land in the north of the village before the settlers arrived.
He added that he confronted the settlers and an Israeli army force arrived to the scene provided protection for the settlers and evacuated them from the area and asked the family “not to cause any problems.”
