The Israeli occupation police at dawn Monday kidnaped two Jerusalemite citizens after finding a gun in their possession.
The Hebrew media quoted a spokesperson for the Israeli border police as saying that soldiers at the Hizma crossing in the northeast of Jerusalem stopped a suspicious car searched it and found a homemade submachine gun known locally as Carlo and several bullet rounds.
The spokesperson added that two Palestinians from Jerusalem aboard the car were arrested and were taken to a security headquarters for interrogation.
Meanwhile the Israeli police extended the detention of four Jerusalemite young men who are residents of Silwan district and Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in the holy city.
According to the Wadi Hilweh Information Center the detention of those young men has been extended for different periods. They were identified as Munder Jamjoum Mohamed al-Rahbi Malek Naser and Murad Atiya.
