At least four Palestinian young men were shot dead at dawn Monday by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) during violent clashes in Jenin City and its refugee camp north of the West Bank.
They were killed successively within less than one hour after the IOF stormed Jenin and its refugee camp and clashed with resistance fighters according to local sources.
Clashes also took place with unarmed local youths during the IOF campaign in Jenin.
Some of the martyrs were evacuated to the Jenin Hospital with bullet injuries to the upper extremities of their bodies. It is still unknown if the victims are civilians or not.
Medical sources said that the bodies of two young men identified as Saleh Ammar 19 and Ra’ed Abu Saif 21 arrived at the hospital while security sources affirmed that the IOF kidnaped the bodies of martyrs Nour Jarrar and Amjad Hussainiya.
The local sources affirmed that the IOF used live ammunition intensively with the intention to kill as many people as possible during the events.
In this regard the Hebrew media claimed that paramilitary forces used machinegun fire to kill a number of Palestinians during a campaign intended to arrest or kill gunmen in Jenin adding that the forces arrested a person classified as wanted before withdrawing from Jenin.
In recent months the IOF came under fire from resistance fighters multiple times during special operations in Jenin City and its refugee camp.
