The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday morning confiscated solar panels from the Palestinian families living in the hamlet of Khirbet Yarza in the northern Jordan Valley.
According to local sources Israeli forces stormed Khirbet Yarza and embarked on dismantling solar panels which are used by the residents to generate electricity before confiscating them.
Such Israeli practices are aimed at forcing the local residents of the northern Jordan Valley to leave the areas they live in the local sources said.
Khirbet Yarza located in the east of Tubas province is inhabited by about 12 families — totaling 100 citizens — who are originally form the area and whose ancestors were living there in large numbers before the West Bank was occupied in 1967.
