The Israeli occupation police on Saturday evening assaulted and kidnaped a Palestinian young man in Salahuddin street east Jerusalem.

According to local sources police officers severely beat a young man called Saadi Burqan and badly injured him during his presence in the street.

The young man was also attacked with pepper spray by a police officer before he was detained and transferred to the Shaare Zedek Hospital in the holy city.

The Israeli occupation police on Friday kidnaped a Palestinian young man after physically assaulting him near Bab al-Amoud area in the Old City of Jerusalem.

According to local sources police officers beat a young man identified as Murad Dirweesh from Issawiya district subdued him and took him to one of their stations in the holy city.

There is still no information about the reason for his detention.
