Injuries during IOF suppressing of Kafr Qaddoum march

Saturday 7-August-2021

Dozens of Palestinian citizens on Friday suffered breathing problems after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) quelled the weekly anti-settlement march in Kafr Qaddum town east of Qalqilya.

Local sources reported that the IOF soldiers stormed Kafr Qaddoum at the beginning of the rally after the Friday prayer.

The sources pointed out that IOF soldiers set up ambushes in abandoned houses and among olive trees then attacked the participants in the march.

IOF fired rubber-coated metal bullets tear gas and sound bombs at Palestinian homes. Dozens of civilians suffered breathing problems and were treated in the field.

The Kafr Qaddoum march was launched in July 2011 and has persisted since then calling for opening the village’s road that has been closed for more than 18 years by IOF during the Al-Aqsa Intifada in 2003.
